5 Boring Observations #57
Dear Reader,
It’s Wednesday. Welcome to the fifty-seventh — and final — edition of 5 Boring Observations.
What a ride it’s been. Or, to use a synonym, what a trip it’s been. Thank you for reading. I hope this newsletter brought you at least some measure of inbox-based entertainment. Stay tuned for my next newsletter effort Progress Report in the coming weeks.
For now… let’s get to the business at hand.
Last week’s poll was a classic, old-fashioned nail-biter. The top three most boring observations were each within a percentage point of the others, if you can believe it (and I hope you can because it’s true). However, only one observation emerged as most boring, and that observation was:
“Chairs have a purpose.”
There’s no question about that. And things that there are no questions about… those things are boring.
A thank you to all who voted.
For the last time, here are this week’s 5 boring observations:
Cranberries share similarities.
Trees grow.
Balloons are present at parties.
Cleanliness is maintained.
Crumbling results in crumbs.
As per usual, the poll will be active for one week. I’ll share the winner somewhere in the first edition of Progress Report in the coming weeks. Other than that, there’s some housekeeping below, followed by one boring photo.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Ikechukwu Ufomadu
Some Housekeeping:
I’ll be testing out some new bits and refining some not entirely new bits on these dates, at these times and at these places:
Friday, July 17th at 8:30pm - This Show Sucks at Pine Box Rock Shop
Tuesday, July 21st at 8:00pm - The Overthinking Hour at Halyards

I used to think I was aware of all the things I thought were boring, but this poll has unlocked many deeper layers. I’m sorry to say I will be less bored without it in my life.
