Dear Reader,
It’s Wednesday1. Welcome to the fourteenth edition of 5 Boring Observations.
The readers of this newsletter who voted in last week’s poll, have voted. The observation to emerge as most boring was:
“Next year is next.”
I find this observation particularly boring. In fact, after much consideration, I’ve decided that I have no further commentary to add to it. It’s refreshing, stumbling upon an observation for which there is no “take” to be made. All there is to do is simply let the observation be. As I do that, I can feel something quiet and peaceful rising from within me. It’s a knowing. A knowing that the time has come to end this paragraph.
A thank you to all who voted.
Without further ado, here are this week’s 5 boring observations:
Worms inspired the worm.
Swings swing.
Hummingbirds are named that.
Old sayings get older.
“Is” is spelled with letters.
The poll will be active for one week, if you need some time to think. Other than that, there’s some housekeeping below, followed by one boring photo.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Ikechukwu Ufomadu
Some Housekeeping:

One Boring Photo:
Another late night dispatch, I know. If you’re reading this on Thursday, then just know that that’s completely natural. The same goes if you’re reading this on any other day in the calendar week. You know the days I’m talking about.
IMO, this is the most challenging poll shared thus far. I'd go so far as to say that *none* of these observations are boring.
Wood comes in cords, as do cords.
